Nothing gets us more excited than working with exceptional artists. We recently had the opportunity to do just that when we framed and installed works by TJ Boulting, David Bailey, Michael Greco and Tyler Shields at Photo London. Housed in the beautiful Somerset House, the exhibit featured works bold and iconic works by photographers from around the globe.
It was our privilege to work with Californian fine art photographer and filmmaker Tyler Shields, printing, framing and installing his Photo London debut. Best known for his provocative images, the exhibit featured a personally curated selection of eleven prints that spanned the breadth of the artists’ portfolio. Considered the Warhol of his age, Shields plays with aspects of pop culture while adding his own sensual and surreal elements.
We also had the opportunity to work with Michael Greco for his Days of Punk exhibit. The LA-based fine art, editorial and celebrity portrait photographer chronicles the down and dirty of the punk rock, new wave and club kid movements from 1970-90’s. The exhibit includes previously unseen selections from Grecco’s newest book, Punk, Post Punk, New Wave: Onstage, Backstage, In Your Face, 1978–1991.
It is always a pleasure to work with institutions that value upcoming contemporary artists as much as we do. Founded in 2011 in Fitzrovia, London, TJ Boulting works with some of the best emerging photographers out there, such as British Journal of Photography International Award winners Daniel Castro Garcia, Dominic Hawgood, Juno Calypso and Felicity Hammond.
